Other examples of communication pieces I have completed and uploaded can be found at the links below. All involve my work as a study abroad ambassador over the past two years. The first is a short blog about the things to consider surrounding mental health while abroad, and found on the TRU Study Abroad tumblr page. The second is a short promotional video that I contributed to that was meant to encourage other TRU students to study abroad via a TRU student exchange. The last button is a short presentation I compiled and gave to other Natural Resource Science students on things to consider when applying for study abroad, particularly as a Natural Resource Science student. All three examples I made, or helped contribute to, in order to provide information to other students on the benefits of travelling and studying in an international setting.

Giveback
The purpose of a communication or giveback piece is to share experience and knowledge with the surrounding community. I have included several examples of giveback pieces that I think apply to contributing knowldedge and experience in order to benefit those around me.
Before I show my examples, I would like to take the time to acknowledge the University of Belize womens football team of 2014. These girls were incredibly supportive during my time spent in Belize, and although I only spent three months playing with them, they became my family while I was there. Playing and travelling with them turned into my first experience of being accepted into an intercultural and international community, and that quick acceptance has driven me to be more open and inclusive towards others since.

Main Giveback:
Seeing Faces, Trading Places
This social event is hosted by the TRU Study Abroad ambassadors, with invitations sent to all current, past, and future study abroad students. The purpose of the event is to bring together students to meet, socialize, and learn about the different places people are from, have been, and are going to.
Myself and one other ambassador planned and coordinated the Seeing Faces, Trading Places study abroad event for Nobember 20th, 2015 in the TRU International Building. The event included icebreaker games, appetizers, a presentation on world events, and an international panel including five students from different parts of the world.
We considered the event a success as many students were able to meet other students who were from or were going to the same countries that future students were going to, and students were able to reminisce about past trips or their home country. The event was able to initiate new friendships as well as intercultural networking that allowed many students to gain perspectives on where they were headed or had been.
